Junior Prizegiving 2009
Academic successes achieved by Year 9 and 10 students were acknowledged at the Junior Prizegiving ceremony held on the final day of the 2009 school year. The guest speaker was former Head Prefect, Aidan Salmon.

The Top Scholar Year 9-Cup was presented by T S Wong. The 2009 recipient was Gregory Warren.

The Top Scholar Year 10 Cup was presented by the Parents Association. The 2009 recipient was Jason Wei.
 |
The Junior Leadership Cup was presented by the Rotary Club of Auckland East. This is a new cup presented to a student in Year 9 or 10 who has shown the greatest leadership in the junior school. The 2009 recipient was Lydia Gillan.

The Groves Cup was presented to the most outstanding all-rounder in Year 10 for academic, activities and service. The 2009 recipient was Josephine Stonyer.
