Introduction to Website Development - Course Information

The purpose of this course is to introduce students to Internet applications, good website design principles, and skills required to complete the website development process. Students are required to complete 2 website projects that encompass the NCEA standards offered in the course.

  • Manukau Institute of Technology IN500: Internet Applications and Hypertext Markup Language
  • A. S. 90349: Develop and implement a one-off technological outcome in ICT
  • A. S. 90368: Demonstrate skills in ICT
  • U. S. 25656: Create a website using a mark-up language to meet a set brief
  • U. S. 15167: Create Individual Web Pages Using HTML
  • U. S. 25655: Create a website using a dedicated web-authoring tool to meet a set brief
  • U. S. 15168: Enhance Pages on a Website (as applicable)
  • U. S. 5938: Access Computer Resources via a Local Area Network (as applicable)
