Level 2 credits are gained by completing Unit Standards in Kayaking, Adventure Based Learning, Role of the Coach, Fitness Education and Sports Skills Teaching

Level 3 credits are gained by completing Unit Standards in Outdoor Pursuits.

Event Management and Sport Leadership are Local units assessed internally.

On completion of the course students gain the Certificate in Sport Leadership from Manukau Institute of Technology.

Students are involved in a range of trips throughout the year relating to Sports Coaching, Event Management and Outdoor Pursuits.
