Business Studies - Course Information

The New Zealand Institute of Management is New Zealand’s professional body for managers and sets the standard for much of the management education and training in NZ

Topics covered:

  • Human Resource Management part 1 & 2
  • Marketing
  • Introduction to Computing
  • Management
  • Employment Relations

Business Studies - Assessment

All the work is externally assessed by New Zealand Institute of Management.

Each unit of work is worth the equivalent of 10 credits @ NCEA Level 2 and 3. Students study 3 papers each year. These include the compulsory papers of the New Zealand Institute of Management Certificate of Management. By the end of the course students will have completed 6 of the 8 papers required.

Course Certificates are supplied by New Zealand Institute of Management.

 


Business Studies - Events

To complete the course you will need to visit businesses and conduct case studies as well as conducting primary research through questionaires.
