Location
The Uniform Centre is located in the building next to the staff car park, when you enter Gate 3.
Opening Hours:
Tuesdays: 8:00 to 9:00am & 12:30 to 2:00pm
Thursdays: 12:30 to 2:00pm
First Saturday of each month: 9:00 to 11:00am
If the first Saturday falls in the school holidays or on a long weekend, the shop will be open the next possible Saturday.
Payments
Payments can be made by cash, cheque, credit card, or EFTPOS.

Second Hand Uniforms
Second hand uniform items are also available for purchase. However, the prices vary depending on the condition of the clothing. Availability of uniform items also vary. If you have uniform items to sale, please ensure they are clean and in good condition.
Glendowie College Uniform
The school uniform is authorised by the Board of Trustees. It has been chosen by the Board of Trustees as being the best available under the criteria of durability, cost, practicality and attractiveness. The wearing of the regulation school uniform is a condition of attendance. The Board of Trustees has authorised staff to send to the Deans those students who are incorrectly dressed for a temporary uniform article replacement for the day. Parents must ensure that all articles of clothing are named and kept in good condition. Full and correct uniform must be worn to and from school each day. Under no circumstances should items of school uniform be worn with other items of clothing. Students are expected to take pride in their appearance and dress neatly at all times, both during school hours and in the community. The Board of Trustees also exercises the right to amend or include items in the regulations if, and when, the need arises.

Uniform Rules
Skirts must be of acceptable length
Leg length of long pants must be worn above heel of the shoe
Sandals may not be worn with socks or stockings
Sandal back strap must be in correct place
Slip-on shoes are not permitted; black, lace-up, polishable shoes are required
Shirts are not to be tucked in
Shoes are to be worn with either socks or stockings, not both
Hats are not to be worn inside classrooms or the assembly hall
Caps must be worn with peak forward; only official college caps may be worn
School beanie is only to be worn at sporting events
Only the official navy v-neck t-shirt may be worn under the uniform shirt (boys only)
Tracksuit is not to be worn for Physical Education
Track pants are not to be worn with school uniform
