A word from the Chairperson of the Parents Association of Glendowie College

We are a friendly group of parents that organise fundraising events to raise money to enhance our college community. It’s great if these fundraisers can be shared by many hands which lighten the load. New ideas are always welcome.

Can you spare some time to be part of our lively group or would you like to be a Friend of the Parents Association?

The commitment involved in being part of the school community is to attend, where possible, all meetings of the association. We generally meet on the last Thursday of each month in the Staff Room at 7.30pm. These meetings are also attended by a member of the Senior Leadership Team and by a member of the Board of Trustees.

These evenings are informative about events and happenings at the school and is a forum to put your ideas forward on matters relating to Glendowie College.

If you choose to be a Friend of the Parents Association, we would contact you for help when needed, for example decorating the hall for a dance or the sports awards.

Please consider joining - we need your support to enhance the College environment for our children as well as continue to build the College community spirit.
