Glendowie College Development Trust
Welcome to Glendowie College Development Trust
Established in 2005, the Glendowie College Development Trust Office works alongside the Board of Trustees and School Management Team, ensuring site development at the college is strategically managed to benefit the whole school and its community.

Developing partnerships between the school, community and
business sector, organising major fundraising events for school-wide development
projects and establishing a Glendowie College Past Student Association are key
responsibilities of the Development Trust Office.
Development planning continues to be a major activity at Glendowie College.
The Glendowie College Board of Trustees continues to focus on projects designed
to modernise existing facilities within the school, enhance the college grounds
and develop the site with new facilities.
In recent years, the college has up-graded all six science laboratories (completed 2007), the technology block (completed 2006) and the music suite (completed 2007). The Photography Centre (completed 2001), two classrooms and the Information Communication Technology (ICT) Cross-Curricular Suite (completed 2003), and the Student Services Centre (opened 2006), are new buildings / facilities on site.
More recently, a new sports gymnasium, built on the Mt Taylor Drive end of the school's sports fields, was opened in April 2010. In 2010 / 2011, the main administration building was completely renovated as well as the college's staff room and drama room.
The environment improvement plan continues, with new shade and seating areas, covered walkways and fence line (around the college grounds) being completed. The majority of these developments have been funded by the Parents’ Association and the Annual Giving Programme.
With community goodwill and support, Glendowie College will maintain and further enhance its position as a leading school in Auckland and New Zealand.
